Mrs. Loversky, Adviser
My name is Mrs. Loversky, and I am new to Creekview this year. I bring my passion for the written word along with my journalism experience to the Clawprint. Before coming to the Clawprint, I was the advisor for Etowah's newspaper, The Talon. Born in Canada, I am much more comfortable with the frozen water; I began skiing and skating when I was three. A former competitive figure skater, I coached for fifteen years until a foot injury and subsequent surgery sidelined me in 2015. That just gives me more time to spend at work! Before becoming a secondary English teacher, I was a television news producer. I am thrilled to be combining two great loves of mine: high school English and journalism. Mix together with a talented and dedicated staff at the best school in Cherokee County, and this is the perfect recipe for success. Grizzlies: this is your newspaper; we want to hear from you. Check us out, and let us know how we are doing. I am excited to be part of the 'View.
